That’s 5! A win in Paris (92-104)

Valencia Basket secured an impressive away victory, taking control of the game from the start of the second half thanks to improved defense. Standout individual performances came from TJ Shorts—who received an ovation upon his return home and finished with 25 points—and Armoni Brooks, who tallied 22 points and four three-pointers, demonstrating his growing comfort within the team’s systems. Valencia Basket will return to action on Sunday—in less than 48 hours—for a demanding Liga Endesa clash against Kosner Baskonia at the Roig Arena.

Comments from Xavi Albert

“A great game—a very fast-paced match. The first half was dominated by the offenses; both teams played with great physicality and clear intent right from the opening seconds, and neither side could get a handle on the opposing offense. Things shifted more in our favor during the second half—I’m proud of how we did a better job of controlling the initial seconds of their attacks, which, for me, was the key today. They kept fighting until the end, making it difficult for us to maintain control, but I’m very pleased, especially with our second-half performance.”
